This Italian ex-designer wine fabric is a lighter, softer alternative to traditional wool coating. Made from a 50% wool and 50% alpaca blend, it has a gentle brushed surface and a warm, airy feel without excess weight. At 261gsm, it’s a comfortable mid-weight that drapes well and suits softer coat shapes, jackets, wraps and layering garments.

With a 135cm width, it’s easy to work with, and the alpaca content adds warmth, loft and a slightly plush handle. Produced by an Italian mill, it’s a well-finished fabric for those wanting warmth without heaviness and a clean overall look.
