Bonded Wool Cotton - Charcoal

Bonded Wool Cotton - Charcoal

A smart bonded outerwear fabric combining wool and cotton for structure, durability and weather resistance.

This double-sided cloth is made from 50% wool and 50% cotton, bonded together in the UK to create a stable and practical fabric for coat making. One side has a soft charcoal and black wool surface with a subtle melange appearance, while the reverse is a solid black cotton layer.

Originally produced for a premium handmade raincoat label, this fabric was designed for trench coats and mackintosh-style outerwear where a clean finish and reliable performance are important. The bonded construction helps the fabric hold its shape while offering protection from the weather.

Both sides can be used in garment design, making it a versatile option for coats, jackets and structured outerwear projects.

Stocks are limited as this is an ex-designer fabric.
