Description

The Wren design offers a button-front blouse and a mini dress style. The mini dress features a lowered waistline accompanied by a pleated skirt, providing a relaxed fit around the waist and hips. It includes two distinctive sleeve choices: a short sleeve enhanced with a puffed cap and an elastic hem, and a long sleeve finished with a cuff.

Recommended Fabric

Light to mid weight woven fabrics such as, rayon challis, rayon crepe, rayon voile, cotton lawn, cotton voile, cotton shirting, linen, double gauze.

Fabric with a good drape world work best for the mini dress (View B).

Notions

• 3/4 yd (0.7m) of tricot fusible interfacing (for facings and cuffs)

• 6 or 7 1/2″ (12.7mm) buttons for the centre front

• 2 or 4 1/2″ (12.7mm) buttons for the long sleeve cuffs

• 1 yd (1m) of 3/8″ (1cm) elastic for the short sleeves
