Seersucker first became popular in Britain's warm weather colonies like British India. One of the best things about the preppy puckered fabric? It doesn't need to be ironed (so it's great for traveling).
Very versatile fabric which can be used for shorts, pants, shirts, skirts, and dresses. For some this would also be the ideal fabric for a pillow case & bed sheets.
