Description

Amina is a generously-sized, relaxed-fit hoodie with a straight, unfussy silhouette. Its front showcases vertical design elements, complete with integrated pockets. The hoodie boasts a dropped shoulder and lengthy shirt sleeves detailed with twin decorative seams, ending in neat cuffs. The roomy hood features a centre seam and overlapping sections at the front neckline, equipped with a channel for twill tape to be threaded through the machine-sewn buttonholes. Amina's lower hem is neatly finished with a waistband, and the hoodie's length extends just below the hip.

Recommended fabric

Sweatshirt fleece, double knit for suits (heavy or medium weight) & bulky knit fabrics.

Choose knit fabrics with the following properties:

- Medium weight, breathable, non-stretch or with very little stretch;

- The fiber content can include natural fibres (wool, cotton), artificial (viscose), blends (wool + polyester, cotton + polyester, cotton + elastane, etc.), and synthetic (polyester, polyester + elastane);

ATTENTION: lightweight sheer fabrics (chiffon, organza, stretch lace) are NOT recommended.

As an additional material for the waistband and cuffs vikisews recommends using rib knits.

Notions

• Interfacing (or fusible straight grained tape) for all sizes in all heights, 3cm wide, 0.45m (two strips, 0.22m long each).

• Twill tape, 1.5cm wide, for all sizes in all heights - 1.7m

• Matching thread, 5 spools (1 spool for the sewing machine and 4 spools for the overlocker)
