Description

The Piper Tunic is a beautifully simple and versatile sewing pattern designed for easy wear and effortless style. With a choice of three lengths, three neckline finishes, and two sleeve styles—a straight sleeve with roll-up tab and a soft bell sleeve with an elasticated hem—you can mix and match the features to suit your style. There are also two bodice options, including a sleeveless version finished with neat binding at the armholes. With so many combinations, Piper offers up to 24 unique looks in one pattern.

Recommended Fabric

Lightweight woven fabric such as cotton, viscose, silk, linen, polyester or a blend with a good drape.

Fabric Requirements

Views A and B: 135-140 cm (50"-55") wide fabric: 1.4 - 2.2 m (1.5 - 2.5 yd).

View C: 135-140 cm (50"-55") wide fabric: 2 - 3.25 m (2.25 - 3.5 yd).

Notions

  • 90 cm (35") wide interfacing, 0.5 m (0.5 yd) for Views A and C or 0.25 m (10") for View B
  • Two small buttons for Views A and C
  • Shirring elastic for View A
  • 1 cm (3/8") wide elastic for the bishop sleeve
