This cotton fabric measures approximately 148cm wide and has a sturdy 8oz (around 400gsm) weight, giving it a solid, reassuring handle that’s ideal for jackets, coats and hard-wearing bags. The waxed finish provides dependable protection from the weather while still allowing the fabric to breathe, making it a practical choice for garments that need to cope with real use.
Chera has a soft matt surface and develops the marks and creases that waxed cotton is famous for, gradually building a unique patina over time. Every fold, scuff and crease becomes part of the story of the garment you make. The roll price is £30 for postage. However, if you’re happy for it to be folded please proceed as normal. By folding it will come with crease marks on the folds.
