Wool Coating - Moss melton
This black moss melton is a proper British-made coating fabric - dense, warm and built to wear well. Woven from 100% wool and finished with that classic melton felted handle, it has a smooth, slightly fuzzy surface that gives coats a clean, premium look. At around 645–675gsm, it’s a heavyweight cloth with real substance, ideal for outerwear that needs to stand up to colder weather.
With a generous 156cm width, it offers plenty of fabric for full-length coats, duffles, pea coats and smart tailored styles. The structure is firm but still workable, making it a reliable choice for both traditional and contemporary coat patterns.
